Legend of the Seeker Cosplay - Kahlan Amnell (#4)

My latest cosplay! The Mother Confessor herself from television show "Legend of the Seeker" (based on the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind), Kahlan Amnell. I've been wanting to do this cosplay since I read the books and watched the show, and my best friend was kind enough to supply me with all the trinkets it needs. Thanks to Bepi for the Wisp, daggers, and corset metallic details. Thanks to my wonderful guy PandaWiththeGuns for the photos.

The costume took about two weeks total (about 8 hours a day) to make. The overdress and underskirt only took one week, but the entirety of the second was devoted to that damned corset. Overdress made of white poplin, because I think it completely unreasonable that a Confessor would travel the country in suede or, god forbid, velvet. Underskirt made of cheap black satin, while the corset is made of green satin with a cotton lining. I know, it's leather in the show, but I didn't have the time/money to mess around with leather, faux leather, vinyl, etc.
